About conference

Iraniam Mathematical Society Conference is the oldest and the most important mathematics event in Iran. Since 1349, when the first Iranian mathematics conference was held, every year this conference has been held in one of Iran's universities. In this event, Iranian and and foreign researchers, PhD students and graduated students will present their achievements in various fields of mathematics.

Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, as one of the country's mathematical hubs, first held the 11th Iran Mathematical Conference in 1980 and has held this conference every eleven years since then.

This year, i.e. 2024, according to this procedure, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad is proud to hold the 55th Iranian Mathematical Conference on August 14-16. It is hoped that, as always, holding this conference will be a suitable platform for improving mathematical knowledge in the country.

Among the goals of this conference are:

- Investigating the ideas of great mathematicians in the history of Iran to create a sense of respect and interest for the country in the young generation

- Acquaintance with the latest scientific and research achievements in mathematical sciences

- Acquaintance with the capabilities of the mathematical community to solve the country's scientific and industrial problems

- Providing a suitable platform for the exchange of ideas of professors, researchers and mathematical PhD students

- Strengthening interaction with the global mathematics community for scientific and international cooperation

- Investigating the challenges facing mathematics education and research and finding suitable solutions

- Examining the challenges facing mathematics students and how to apply them
